Rebeccah Pailes-Friedman is a ceramic artist whose sculptural vessels explore transformation, erosion, and the material memory of clay. Rebeccah needed a website with a formal sensibility that would speak to gallerists and curators, while also highlighting her three distinct bodies of work — each demanding its own unique layout and presentation. Using an off-the-shelf theme, we brought a high level of customization to an otherwise neutral theme to achieve an elevated, considered aesthetic that features her favorite font and a stark color palette, without sacrificing the flexibility needed to let each body of work breathe on its own terms.
